The digital era has transformed the social lives of young generations. While digital technology has provided opportunities for them to express themselves and participate in social matters, it also poses challenges. Social media platforms provide a space for active learning and participation in social matters. However, they can also become a source of daily stress that impedes youth wellbeing. In this workshop, we will discuss four topics young people face in the digital era:
- Youth’s voices in the digital era
- Youth mental health in digital and post-digital era
- LGBTQ+ youth and digital (sexual) wellbeing
- Digital intimacy and Youths in Asia
We invite four experts to address these important topics. Participants in this workshop will have chances to learn and discuss these issues with these scholars.
